단양군의 2023년 1인당 GRDP는 5,491만 원(54,910천 원)으로 도 평균(53,827천 원)을 웃돌며 도내 상위권을 기록했다.

군은 이번 성장세를 일시적 반등이 아닌 지역경제 체질 개선의 흐름으로 보고 있다. 성장의 온기가 통계에 머무르지 않도록 민생 안정과 일자리 확대로 연결하는 데 정책 역량을 집중할 방침이다.
