국민권익위원회가 실시한 청렴도 평가에서 매년 상위 등급을 유지하며 성과를 거두고 있는 군은 청렴의 중요성을 강조하며 다양한 시책을 추진하고 있다.

군은 2024년도 국민권익위원회 청렴도 평가에서 종합청렴도 2등급을 달성하며 4년 연속 상위권을 유지했다. 

음성군의 청렴도 점수는 전국 군 단위 지자체 평균인 74.4점을 웃도는 81.0점으로, 군민들의 신뢰를 받는 자치단체로 거듭나고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.

군은 ‘청렴 음성’을 실현하기 위해 반부패 환경을 조성하고 공공감사제도를 강화해 나가고 있다. 또 주민들이 군의 부패 척결 의지를 체감할 수 있도록 다양한 제도를 운영하고 있다.
