【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 2025년도 제1회 초·중·고졸 검정고시에서 16명(중졸 7명, 고졸 9명)이 합격했다고 9일 밝혔다.

지난달 5일에 시행된 검정고시에 금빛평생학습관과 설성평생학습관의 검정고시 학습자 39명이 응시했고, 이 중 16명이 합격의 결실을 맺었다.

이번 시험의 난이도는 응시자의 체감에 따라 과목별 차이가 있었다. 성인 학습자인 경우, 오랜 학습 공백으로 인해 수학과 과학 과목에 어려움을 느낀 응시자가 다수였다. 

학습자들은 지난 1월부터 시험 대비 꾸준히 공부했고 늦은 시간까지 진행되는 야간반 수업에도 출석하는 등의 열의를 보였지만 시험 유형이 바뀌어 높은 합격률을 보이지 못했다. 

군은 현재 8월 시험 대비 주간반과 야간반 수강생을 모집하고 있다. 자세한 사항은 음성군 평생학습과(043-871-4911, 4923)로 문의하면 된다.

장정자 평생학습과장은 “2018년 수업을 시작으로 주민들의 학력 보완과 배움의 기회를 이어 나갈 수 있도록 수업을 운영하고 있다. 하반기에는 학습자들과 관내 대학을 탐방할 계획”이라며 “군민들이 새로운 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

한편 음성군장학회는 성인 학습자 검정고시 합격자를 대상으로 ‘군민평생장학금’을 지원하고 관내 대학 입학 시 ‘관내 대학 진학장학금’도 지원하고 있다.
