9일(금)에는 본격적인 선수단 방문 일정이 진행됐다. 진천군의회는 풋살을 비롯한 8개 종목 경기장을 돌며 선수들의 투지를 확인하고, 따뜻한 인사와 함께 응원의 말을 전했다.

이재명 의장은 “우리 선수들이 부상 없이 각자의 자리에서 최선을 다하며 멋진 경기를 펼쳐줘 기쁘다.”며, “지역 스포츠 문화가 더욱 풍요로워지도록 진천군의회 또한 끊임없이 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편, 제64회 충북도민체육대회는 10일(토), 폐회식을 끝으로 막을 내린다.
