【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시 수산면주민자치위원회(위원장 김택수)는 지난 8일 제천시 수산면 다목적광장에서 마을 어르신과 주민 1,000여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제53회 수산면 어버이날 기념행사를 개최했다. 

 이날 행사는 흥겨운 공연과 따뜻한 감사 인사를 나누며 어르신들의 노고에 존경을 표하고, 주민들의 화합을 다지는 뜻깊은 자리로 진행됐다. 

 기념식에 앞서 펼쳐진 식전 공연은 수산면 주민자치프로그램 수강생들의 무대로 꾸며졌다. 모듬북 공연의 힘찬 울림과 색소폰 공연의 아름다운 선율은 행사 분위기를 고조시켰다. 

 김택수 수산면주민자치위원장의 개회사로 시작된 기념식에서는 병환 중인 시어머니를 10년 이상 정성껏 모신 수곡1리 하명숙 님에게 효행자 표창이, 93세 오티리 이순자 어르신에게 장수패가 수여돼 따뜻한 축하를 받았다. 

 또한 쿱버스 관광 대표 이상규 님은 매년 어버이날 행사 때마다 무료로 셔틀버스를 제공하여 주민편의를 도운 공로로 감사패를 받았다.

 2부 공연에서는 칸타빌레 색소폰 공연, 황하선예술단의 장구 공연, 초대 가수 선미의 특별공연 등 풍성한 볼거리가 이어졌으며, 주민들이 직접 참여한 마을 노래자랑은 숨겨둔 끼와 재능을 마음껏 펼치는 시간으로 웃음과 흥겨움이 끊이지 않았다. 

 김택수 위원장은 “어버이날을 맞아 마을 어르신들에게 감사와 존경의 마음을 전하고, 주민들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 화합의 장을 마련하고자 이번 행사를 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회에 효 문화가 더욱 확산될 수 있도록 노력하고, 주민들이 함께 참여하고 즐길 수 있는 다양한 행사를 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
