【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군(군수 송인헌)은 지난 8일 오후 충청북도 관계 부서와 함께 4단계(2022~2026) 지역균형발전사업에 대한 상반기 현장점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 현재까지 준공된 3개 사업 현장을 대상으로 진행됐다.

점검 대상은 전략사업인 ‘행복깃든 보금자리주택 조성사업’, 미래신성장동력사업인 ‘시스템반도체 첨단 AI 분석 플랫폼 구축사업’, 2단계(2012~2016) 전략사업으로 현재 미운영 상태인 ‘버섯 유통센터’ 등이다.

괴산군은 현장 점검을 통해 사업 추진 현황을 직접 확인하고, 향후 효율적인 운영 및 개선 방안을 관계자들과 함께 모색했다

충청북도의 지역균형발전사업은 저발전 지역의 자립 역량을 강화하고 주민 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 목적으로 추진되며, 군은 2024년 기준 중간평가에서 도내 1위를 기록하는 성과를 거뒀다.

군은 현재까지 전략사업 3건 가운데 2건을 준공하였으며, 총 340억 원(도비 204억 원, 군비 136억 원)을 투입해 사업을 추진 중이다.

나머지 ‘행복스테이 플랫폼 조성사업’은 2026년 상반기 준공을 목표로 순조롭게 진행되고 있다.

군 관계자는 “지역균형발전사업이 안정적으로 관리되고 주민 체감도가 높은 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적인 점검과 운영방안 마련에 힘쓰겠다”며 “미래 성장 동력을 확보하고 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 신규 전략사업 발굴에도 박차를 가하겠다”고 말했다.
