【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군이 ‘2025년 충청북도 시군종합평가’에서 정량평가 1위와 정성평가 3위를 달성하며, 4년 연속 시군종합평가 우수기관으로 선정됐다.

  시군종합평가는 충북도가 도내 11개 시군을 대상으로 국정 연계 정책과 도정 역점 시책에 대한 추진 성과를 평가해 매년 우수 지방 정부를 선정하는 제도다.

  평가는 총 117개 지표(정량평가 102개, 정성평가 15개)를 판단하며, 정량평가는 지표별 목표 달성 여부를 판단, 정성평가는 정책 우수사례를 선정한다.

  진천군은 정량평가 부문에서 96.0%라는 압도적인 달성률을 기록하며 1위를, 정성지표 부문에서 우수사례 9개 선정으로 3위를 차지해 최종 우수지자체로 선정됐으며 재정 인센티브로 무려 2억 4천500만원을 확보하는 성과를 얻었다.

  송기섭 진천군수는 “최근 9년 동안 우수기관 7회 선정이라는 우수한 성적을 거둔 것은 진천군 900여 공직자 모두가 하나된 힘으로 노력했기 때문”이라며 “앞으로도 군민이 체감할 수 있는 차별화된 정책 추진을 통해 수준 높은 행정 서비스를 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 말했다.

  한편, 군은 올해에도 재난대응 안전한국훈련 행안부 장관 표창, 교육발전특구 교육부장관상을 받는 등 다양한 분야에서 뛰어난 행정력을 지속적으로 발휘하고 있다.
