【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=오송첨단의료산업진흥재단(KBIOHealth·이사장 이명수)은 서울 코엑스에서 5월 7일부터 9일까지 열리는 ‘BIO KOREA 2025(바이오코리아 2025)’에 참가했다.

 올해로 20회를 맞이한 BIO KOREA는 ‘혁신과 협업, 함께 만들어가는 미래'를 주제로, 컨퍼런스, 비즈니스 파트너링, 전시, 인베스트 페어 등 다양한 프로그램으로 구성된 국내 최대 보건산업 박람회다. 

KBIOHealth는 이번 전시에서 신약개발, 첨단의료기기, 비임상, 바이오의약품생산 분야의 주요 서비스와 성과를 소개했으며, 바이오헬스분야 실무인재 양성, 규제과학지원, 혁신창업지원(이노랩스 : KBIOHealth Innovation Labs) 관련 상담부스를 운영했다.  

관람객 참여형 이벤트도 눈길을 끌었다. KBIOHealth의 캐릭터 ‘곰이’와 함께하는 프로그램과 KBIOHealth OX 퀴즈 이벤트가 진행되며 큰 호응을 얻었다.

특히 주목할 점은 일본 iPark Institute와의 공동 부스 운영이다. 이번 협업은 일본과의 바이오헬스 산업 교류에 관심이 높은 국내 바이오 벤처 기업들의 많은 관심을 받았으며, 실질적인 협력 가능성을 논의하는 장으로 기능했다. 양 기관은 오는 10월 8일 일본 요코하마에서 개최되는 BIO JAPAN 2025에서도 공동 부스를 운영해 교류를 지속할 예정이다.

이명수 이사장은 “국내 바이오벤처 기업과 해외 제약 기업의 협력 수요가 매우 높다”며, “iPark Institute와 같은 글로벌 기업 및 기관들과의 네트워크를 지속적으로 강화해 K-의료산업 생태계의 선도적 역할을 이어나가겠다”고 강조했다.

한편, KBIOHealth는 오는 6월 16일부터 미국 보스턴에서 개최되는 BIO USA 2025에 참가해, 국내 10개 기관과 함께 ‘KOREA BioHealth Hub’공동 홍보관을 운영한다. 이 자리에서는 기업IR, 세미나, 비즈니스 미팅, 네트워킹 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공할 예정이다.

Promoting Global Biohealth Exchanges by Operating Joint Booths with Japan's iPark Institute

The Osong Advanced Medical Industry Promotion Foundation (KBIOHealth, Chairman Lee Myeong-su) participated in 'BIO KOREA 2025 (Bio Korea 2025)' held at COEX in Seoul from May 7 to 9.

BIO KOREA, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is the largest health industry fair in Korea, consisting of various programs such as conferences, business partnering, exhibitions, and invest fairs, with the theme of 'Innovation and Collaboration, Creating the Future Together'.

KBIOHealth introduced its main services and achievements in the fields of new drug development, advanced medical devices, non-clinical trials, and biopharmaceutical production at this exhibition, and operated consultation booths related to training of practical talents in the biohealth field, regulatory science support, and innovation and startup support (InnoLabs: KBIOHealth Innovation Labs).

The audience participation event also attracted attention. The program with KBIOHealth's character 'Gomi' and the KBIOHealth OX quiz event received great responses.

Of particular note is the joint booth operation with Japan's iPark Institute. This collaboration received much attention from domestic bio venture companies that are highly interested in biohealth industry exchanges with Japan, and served as a venue for discussing the possibility of practical cooperation.
