이번 사업은 최근 난임시술 증가 등으로 다태아 출생률이 높아짐에 따라, 다태아 가정의 경제적 부담을 덜고 안정적인 육아 환경을 조성하기 위해 추진된다.

지원 대상은 청주시에 주민등록을 둔 기준중위소득 120% 이하 다태아 출산가정의 12개월 이하 영아다. 1인당 월 최대 10만원, 연 최대 120만원의 분유 구입비를 지원한다. 단, 보건복지부의 저소득층 조제분유 지원사업 선정가정은 제외한다.

신청을 희망하는 가정은 충북가치자람 누리집에서 온라인으로 진행하거나 시청 여성가족과를 방문해 신청하면 된다. 지원금은 오는 9월부터 분기별로 실 구매비용을 정산한 후 신청인 계좌로 지급된다.
