이날 행사를 통해 평소 아동들이 필요로 했던 가방, 운동화, 과자, 학용품, 장난감 등의 소원 물품을 아동들에게 전달했다. 이번 봉사활동은 단순한 나눔을 넘어, 지역사회와 공공기관이 연계된 실질적 맞춤형 봉사활동의 사례로 평가받고 있다.

김경희 괴산우체국장은 “아이들의 웃음과 따뜻한 글귀에서 오히려 우리 직원들이 더 큰 위로를 받았다.”며 “앞으로도 주변의 아동 및 어려운 이웃들을 위해 지속적인 봉사 활동을 통해 우체국의 공적 역할과 사회적 책임을 다하고, 지역사회에 희망과 행복을 배달하도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
