【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교(총장 고창섭) 이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업단이 지난 4월 23일부터 5월 7일까지 자율전공학부 소속 학생들을 대상으로 이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업설명회를 개최했다.

이번 설명회는 공학자율전공학부, 전자정보자율전공학부, 자율전공학부 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 총 세 차례에 걸쳐 진행됐으며, 본 설명회에는 180여 명이 참여해 높은 관심을 보였다.

설명회에서는 이차전지 융합전공의 교육과정과 함께 현장실습, 국제교류 등 실무 중심의 비교과 프로그램이 소개됐으며, 특히 한 학기 최대 330만원의 장학금 지원 혜택 등 학생들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 

이번 설명회는 학생들에게 이차전지 분야의 필요성과 진로 가능성을 실질적으로 전달하는 계기가 됐으며, 학생들은 이차전지 분야 전문성과 글로벌 역량을 동시에 갖출 수 있는 기회를 확인했다. 아울러, 사업단은 향후에도 관련 교육과 비교과 활동을 지속 운영할 계획이다.

정상문 이차전지 혁신융합대학 총괄 사업단장은 “자율전공학부 학생들이 이차전지 분야에 대한 이해를 높이고, 다양한 프로그램에 참여함으로써 미래 산업을 이끌어갈 핵심 인재로 성장하길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 꾸준한 설명회와 프로그램 운영을 통해 학생 참여를 확대해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

한편, 이차전지 혁신융합대학 컨소시엄 사업(COSS)은 지난 2023년 6월부터 교육부와 한국연구재단에서 지원을 받아 이차전지 분야의 국가적 인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 교육 및 연구 프로그램을 진행하고 있으며, 충북대를 비롯한 5개 대학과 충청북도, 청주시, 부산광역시, 인천광역시 등이 협력하고 있다.

Chungbuk National University Holds ‘Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Business Briefing Session’

Chungbuk National University (President Ko Chang-seop) Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Business Group held a Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Business Briefing Session for students belonging to the Autonomous Major Department from April 23 to May 7.

This briefing session was held three times in total for first-year students from the Engineering Autonomous Major Department, Electronic Information Autonomous Major Department, and Autonomous Major Department, and about 180 people participated in the briefing session, showing great interest.

The briefing session introduced the curriculum of the Secondary Battery Convergence Major along with practical non-curricular programs such as field training and international exchange, and received a great response from students, especially the scholarship support benefits of up to 3.3 million won per semester.

Meanwhile, the Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Consortium Project (COSS) has been conducting various education and research programs with the goal of fostering national talents in the secondary battery field with support from the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea since June 2023, and five universities including Chungbuk National University, Chungcheongbuk-do, Cheongju, Busan, and Incheon are cooperating.
