【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 보건소는 보건복지부와 한국건강증진개발원 주관 ‘2025년도 노인 방문 구강 건강관리 시범사업’에 충북에서 유일하게 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

  사업 대상은 거동이 불편한 65세 이상 노인 가정으로 치과 전문 의료 인력(치과의사, 치과위생사)이 직접 가정을 방문해 맞춤형 구강관리서비스를 제공한다.

  대상자 선정은 의료-돌봄 통합지원사업과 연계해 이뤄지며 돌봄 대상자 중에서도 구강관리 필요도가 높은 어르신을 우선적으로 선정한다. 

  대상자로 선정된 어르신은 구강검진, 위생 상태, 구강건조, 구강 노쇠 등 구강건강 전반에 대한 평가를 받는다.

  이를 바탕으로 개인별 관리계획을 수립한 뒤 1~3개월간 주기적으로 방문해 구강교육, 상담, 구강 위생관리, 구강 기능훈련 등 필요한 예방적 처치를 제공할 예정이다.

  문주희 군 보건행정과 주무관은 “이번 사업은 단순한 구강관리 차원을 넘어 지역 내에서 실질적인 건강 돌봄이 이뤄지는 기반이 될 것”이라며 “충북에서 유일하게 참여하게 된 만큼 내실 있는 운영을 통해 모범사례가 되도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Jincheon-gun Public Health Center in Chungcheongbuk-do announced that it was the only one in Chungcheongbuk-do to be selected for the '2025 Elderly Visit Oral Health Care Pilot Project' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Promotion Development Institute.

The project targets households of elderly people aged 65 or older who have difficulty moving, and dental specialists (dentists, dental hygienists) will visit their homes directly to provide customized oral care services.

The selection of the target is done in conjunction with the integrated medical-care support project, and among the care recipients, elderly people with a high need for oral care will be given priority.

Elderly people selected as the target will receive an evaluation of their overall oral health, including oral examinations, hygiene status, oral dryness, and oral aging.

Based on this, an individual management plan will be established, and then they will visit periodically for 1 to 3 months to provide necessary preventive treatment, such as oral education, counseling, oral hygiene management, and oral function training.
