옥천군은 지역사랑상품권에 대한 국비 지원이 불투명한 상황에서 침체된 지역 상권 회복을 위해 1회 추가경정예산에 군비 25억 원을 추가 편성했으며 군의회의 전폭적인 협조로 2회 추경 전까지 안정적으로 상품권 정책을 운영할 수 있게 되었다.

군 관계자에 따르면 어린이날과 어버이날 등 각종 기념일로 소비가 증가하는 5월에 향수OK카드의 혜택을 높여 지역 내 소비를 촉진하고자 한다고 밝혔다.
