【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군 공무원들이 품바 옷을 만들어 입고 오는 6월 개최를 앞둔 제26회 음성품바축제 홍보에 적극 나섰다.

올해 축제의 슬로건인 ‘음성은 품바지!’를 옷에 오려 붙이고, 중장년층만이 향유하는 축제가 아닌 젊은 세대도 참여할 수 있는 축제로 다가가기 위해 MZ세대 겨냥 힙한 느낌으로 제작했다.

군은 지난 27일에 열린 제19회 반기문 마라톤대회에서 품바옷을 입고 축제 공식 인스타그램 팔로워를 대상으로 추억의 뽑기 이벤트를 진행하며 홍보 부스를 운영했다. 오는 5월 8일에는 충북도민체전에서 축제를 홍보할 예정이다.

또한 직접 제작한 품바 노래를 활용해 음성품바축제 유튜브 영상 공모전도 추진하고, 축제 공식 홈페이지 이벤트 진행 등 다양한 방법으로 축제를 홍보할 계획이다.

조병옥 군수는 “공직자들이 먼저 품바가 돼 축제장을 찾아오는 관광객들에게 즐거움을 주고 함께 즐기는 축제 분위기를 조성하고 있다”며 “많은 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제가 되도록 준비에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 8년 연속 문화관광축제이자 10년 연속 충청북도 최우수 축제인 제26회 음성품바축제는 6월 11일부터 15일까지 5일간 음성읍 설성공원 및 꽃동네 일원에서 개최된다.

전국품바래퍼경연대회, 길놀이퍼레이드, 품바왕선발대회를 비롯한 다양한 공연과 각종 체험, 전시행사가 펼쳐질 예정이다.
