【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도는 오는 6월 3일 실시되는 제21대 대통령 선거를 대비하여 각 정당에 대선공약으로 건의할 과제를 확정한다고 밝혔다.

  도는 조기대선이 확정된 직후부터 각 시᭼군, 유관기관 등과의 긴밀한 협조를 통해 공약과제를 체계적으로 발굴해왔고, 관련부서 등의 다각적 검토를 통해 건의과제를 최종 선정하였다.

  이번 대선공약 건의과제는 지역 핵심 현안과 미래 발전 과제를 담아 충청북도의 중장기 발전전략에 부합하는 내용으로 구성하였으며, 공약실현 가능성과 대규모 사업에 대한 국비 확보 연계성을 중심으로 세부사업을 구체화 하였다.

  도는 발굴한 공약을 지역경제에 직결된 실질적 사업 위주의 주요 현안사업(106개)과 국비지원 기준 완화, 법령 개정, 제도 개선 등 지역실정에 맞는 행정환경 조성을 목표로 하는 제도개선 과제(19개)로 구분하였다.

  충북도가 제시한 대선공약 건의과제를 주요 현안사업 중심으로 살펴보면,  신성장산업 육성 기반 구축을 위한 △청주국제공항 민간항공기 전용 활주로 건설 △K-바이오 스퀘어 조기 완공 △차세대 AX 딥테크 혁신 허브 조성 △시스템반도체 첨단패키징 메가팩토리 구축 △글로벌 배터리산업 혁신 플랫폼 조성 △오창 K-싱크로트론 밸리 조성 등 미래 먹거리 확보를 위한 과제를 담았다.

  교통·물류 인프라 확충을 위해 △ 내륙의 Missing Link 연계인 청주공항~김천간 철도 건설 △충청권광역급행철도(CTX) 조기 추진 △영동~진천간 고속도로 건설 △충북선 고속화 조기 개통 등 광역교통망 구축을 통해 사통팔달 교통 중심지를 구현할 계획이다.
