【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 영동군이 지난 14일부터 오는 6월 13일까지 61일간 관내 노후·위험시설을 대상으로 ‘2025년 민관합동 집중안전점검’을 추진한다.

 이번 점검은 △건축물 △숙박시설 △복지시설 △다중이용시설 등 재난 및 사고 발생 우려가 높은 74개소를 중심으로 진행되며, 주민이 직접 점검을 신청한 생활밀접시설도 포함된다. 

 점검은 공무원과 민간 전문가, 유관기관이 함께 참여하는 방식으로 이뤄진다.

 특히 영동군은 안전관리자문단을 비롯한 건축사, 기술사 등 민간전문가의 참여로 전문성을 높이고, 열화상 적외선 장비를 탑재한 드론 등 첨단장비를 저수지, 교량, 공사현장 등에 투입해 정밀 점검을 진행할 예정이다.

 군은 주민들의 자율적인 참여를 유도하기 위해 △가정 △음식점 △학교 등에서 활용 가능한 ‘자율안전점검표’를 제작·배포하고, 안전보안관·자율방재단 등과 함께 캠페인과 홍보활동도 활발히 전개할 방침이다.

 군 관계자는 “공무원, 민간 전문가, 주민이 함께 생활 속 위험 요인을 꼼꼼히 살피고 해소하는 계기로 삼아, 군민이 안심할 수 있는 안전한 환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

 한편 영동군은 주민이 직접 점검이 필요한 시설을 신청할 수 있는 ‘주민점검신청제’를 운영 중이다. 

 신청은 4월 30일까지 안전신문고 앱·포털 또는 읍·면사무소를 통해 가능하며, 군은 위험성 분석과 전문가 검토를 거쳐 최종 점검 대상 선정 후 개별 통보할 예정이다.
