【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 충청북도 지정문화유산 보수정비사업의 일환으로 추진 중인 충청북도 유형문화유산 ‘동의보감 초간본’의 보존처리 계획 검토를 위해 14일 한독의약박물관에서 전문가 자문회의를 개최했다.

‘동의보감’은 선조 29년(1596) 왕명에 따라 허준(許浚, 1539~1615)이 편찬을 시작해, 광해군 2년(1610)에 25권 25책으로 완성한 의서이다. 

내경편(內景篇) 권2, 외형편(外形篇) 권1, 잡병편(雜病篇), 침구편(鍼灸篇), 탕액편(湯液篇)으로 구성돼 근세 서양의학의 분과가 거의 망라돼 있다고 할 수 있다.

한독의약박물관 소장 ‘동의보감’ 초간본은 故 김두종(金斗鐘) 박사가 기증한 것으로, 내경편(內景篇) 권2, 외형편(外形篇) 권1, 침구편(鍼灸篇) 등 3권 3책이다.

비록 완질본은 아니지만 조선시대 중기의 목판인쇄 문화는 물론 한의학 및 서지학의 연구에 활용될 수 있는 중요한 자료이다.

이날 자문회의에서는 자문위원과 소장처 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 국가유산 원형 보존을 위해 과학적 보존진단을 기반한 적절한 보존처리 계획이 수립되었는지를 점검하고 향후 보존처리 방안에 대한 검토가 이뤄졌다.

군은 향후 충청북도(문화유산과)의 승인을 득한 후 수립된 계획에 따라 보존처리를 실시할 계획이다.

한편 음성군(문화관광과)과 한독의약박물관은 2022년 업무협약을 맺고 △음성박물관 건립을 위한 협력(홍보관 운영) △2024년 한독의약박물관 소장 ‘향약제생집성방(鄕藥濟生集成方)’ 권4~5 보존처리 △문화유산 활용사업(충청북도 유람유랑사업) 추진 △팩토리투어 운영 등 지역 문화관광 발전을 위해 긴밀하게 협력하고 있다.

Eumseong-gun Holds Expert Advisory Meeting on Preservation and Treatment of Tangible Cultural Heritage ‘Donguibogam’

Eumseong-gun held an expert advisory meeting at the Han-Dok Medical Museum on the 14th to review the preservation and treatment plan for the ‘Donguibogam First Edition’, a tangible cultural heritage of Chungcheongbuk-do, which is being promoted as part of the Chungcheongbuk-do designated cultural heritage preservation and maintenance project.

‘Donguibogam’ is a medical book that was started by Heo Jun (許浚, 1539~1615) in accordance with the royal command in the 29th year of King Seonjo’s reign (1596) and completed in 25 volumes and 25 books in the 2nd year of King Gwanghaegun’s reign (1610).

It consists of Naegyeongpyeon (內景篇) Volume 2, Oehyeongpyeon (外形篇) Volume 1, Miscellaneous Diseases (雜病篇), Acupuncture and Moxibustion (鍼灸篇), and Tang-aek (湯液篇), so it can be said that almost all branches of modern Western medicine are covered.

The first edition of ‘Donguibogam’ in the collection of the Han-Dok Medical Museum was donated by the late Dr. Kim Du-jong (金斗鐘), and consists of 3 volumes and 3 books: Naegyeongpyeon (內景篇) Volume 2, Oehyeongpyeon (外形篇) Volume 1, and Acupuncture and Moxibustion (鍼灸篇).

Although it is not a complete edition, it is an important resource that can be used for research on woodblock printing culture in the mid-Joseon Dynasty as well as oriental medicine and bibliography.
