공연은 오는 5월 24일부터 25일까지 이틀간 보강천체육공원 미루나무숲 일원에서 펼쳐질 예정이다. 

보강천 미루나무숲은 증평 도심 속 자연경관이 어우러진 힐링 공간으로, 지역 주민들에게 사랑받는 명소다. 

이번 버스킹 공연은 문화예술을 통한 지역사회 소통의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다.

참가 신청은 4월 2일부터 23일까지 진행되며, 증평문화원을 직접 방문하거나 이메일, 팩스를 통해 접수할 수 있다. 

군은 공연의 원활한 진행을 위해 야외무대와 음향 장비를 지원할 예정이다.

군 관계자는 “이번 버스킹 공연이 지역 문화예술인들에게 재능을 펼칠 기회를 제공함과 동시에, 주민들에게는 색다른 문화 향유의 시간이 될 것으로 기대된다”며, “많은 공연팀과 개인 예술인들의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.

한편, 증평문화예술의 날은 지역 문화예술인의 창작활동을 장려하고 주민들의 문화 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 매년 개최되는 행사로, 올해 30회를 맞아 더욱 다채로운 프로그램이 마련될 예정이다.
