【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도괴산증평교육지원청(교육장 우관문)은 4월 4일 증평중학교 자연사과학관에서 관내 초·중 과학 담당 교사 및 교무실무사 총 30명이 참석한 가운데 과학실 안전 관리 역량 강화 연수를 개최했다.

이번 연수는 탐구·참여 중심의 안전하고 즐거운 과학실 수업을 위해 과학실 담당 교직원의 실험실 안전 역량 강화를 목적으로 화학물질관리법, 폐기물관리법 등을 주요 내용으로 구성했다.

또한 2023년 충청북도교육청 과학실 안전 관리에 관한 조례(충청북도조례 제4912호)의 현장 안착을 위한 내용을 다루고 현장 중심의 맞춤형 과학실 안전 관리 매뉴얼을 제공하여 학교 현장에 직접 활용할 수 있도록 연수를 실시하였다.

우관문 교육장은 “이번 연수가 과학실 안전 관리의 중요성을 인식하고 실천하는 계기가 되길 바라며, 안전한 과학실 운영을 통해 학생들이 창의융합형 미래 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.
