【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청(교육감 윤건영)은 25일, <아이의 힘! 책봄 아이사랑 책기부> 사업에 (재)제산평생학습‧인광그룹(회장 김상문)이 3천만 원을 기부하며 교육나눔에 동참했다고 밝혔다.

<아이의 힘! 책봄 아이사랑 책기부> 사업은 향토기업가 및 출향인사의 기부를 받아 도내 학교에 도서 구입비를 지원하는 사업으로, 독서교육 정책인 <언제나 책봄>을 통해 마음근육을 강화하는 데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

이를 통해 학생들이 언제 어디서나 책을 가까이하며 도덕적 상상력을 키우고 바른 인성을 갖춘 미래 인재로 성장해 가는 밑거름이 되고 있다.

(재)제산평생학습‧인광그룹과의 기부금 전달식은 전날인 24일(월)에 윤건영 교육감과 김상문 회장 등 관계자 9명이 참석하여 뜻깊은 자리를 더욱 빛나게 했다.

기부받은 금액은 영동유, 오송솔미초, 영동초, 솔강중, 보은여중, 보덕중, 새너울중 등 7교에 전액 도서구입비로 지원된다.

김상문 (재)제산평생학습‧인광그룹 회장은 “미래를 이끌어갈 학생들에게 양질의 독서환경을 제공하는데 함께 할 수 있어 기쁘다. 독서는 아이들의 창의력과 사고력을 키우는 중요한 요소인 만큼, 지속적으로 관심을 갖고 지원하겠다.”고 전했다.

윤건영 교육감은 “책을 통한 교육 나눔에 적극적으로 동참해 주신 (재)제산평생학습‧인광그룹에 깊이 감사드리며, 이번 기부금은 학생들이 책과 더욱 가까워질 수 있도록 독서 환경 조성에 소중히 활용하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 충청북도교육청은 지난 17일(월)에는 (사)한국산업진흥협회와 <아이사랑 책기부> 문화 확산을 위한 업무협약을 체결한 바 있다.
