【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=오송첨단의료산업진흥재단(이사장 이명수, 이하‘KBIOHealth’)은 의료융합 산업 발전과 협약기관과의 지속가능한 협력을 위해 순천향대학교-순천향중앙의료원과 3자 업무협약을 25일 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약으로 충청권 대학-병원-재단의 협력 체계를 구축하여 우리나라 의료융합산업의 발전을 토대로 순천향대학교 글로컬 대학 사업 추진에 상호 적극 협력하기로 합의했다.

이 날 협약식에는 송병국 총장, 김기덕 교학부총장, 전창완 연구산학부총장, 백무준 의과대학학장, 한상민 기획처장(이상 순천향대학교), 순천향중앙의료원 서유성 원장, 이명수 이사장, 최원찬 기획조정실장, 송두현 대외협력홍보팀장, 이용환 부속팀장(이상 KBIOHealth) 등이 참석했다.

본 협약의 주요 협력사항은 의료융합산업 공동연구·기술개발·상용화·인력양성, 의료융합산업 스타트업 육성 및 기업 성장지원, 의료 및 의료융합 기술 테스트베드 및 임상시험 협력 체계 구축, 지역·산업 맞춤형 공동 교육과정 개발·운영, 글로컬대학 사업의 성공적 추진 협력 등이다.

KBIOHealth는 2010년 설립이후 대한민국 최고 수준의 바이오헬스산업 시설·기술·장비 인프라를 구축하여 생태계를 지원하고 있으며, 바이오신약, 의료기기, 비임상시험 등 연구지원과 원료·완제의약품 생산, 규제과학지원 등 사업화 지원 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 또한, 올해 창립 15주년을 맞이하여 바이오4.0 선도를 통한 대한민국 바이오헬스산업의 글로벌 도약을 목표로 국내외 협력을 적극적으로 확대하고 있다.
