【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=2025영동세계국악엑스포 조직위원회는 태권도진흥재단과 3월 24일 영동군청에서2025영동세계국악엑스포 성공개최 및 태권도 진흥을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

  업무협약식에는 정영철 영동군수(공동조직위원장)와 김중헌 태권도진흥재단 이사장이 참석했다.

  이번 업무협약은 우리나라 대표 전통문화 콘텐츠인 국악과 국기  태권도의 진흥을 도모하고 더 나아가 해외에서 우리 전통문화 브랜드의 위상을 제고할 필요성에 대한 공감대가 형성되어 마련되었다.

  이를 위해 양 기관은 국악엑스포 성공개최 및 태권도 진흥을 위한 상호  홍보, 엑스포 기간 상호 입장료 할인 등 연계 사업 추진, 전북 무주에 위치한 태권도원 시설을 조직위가 사용할 수 있도록 편의를 제공하는 등의 내용에 협력하기로 합의하였다.

 김중헌 이사장은“엑스포를 찾는 100만 관람객에게 국기 태권도와 세계태권도 성지 태권도원을 알리는 계기가 될 것”이라며“태권도와 국악이 융합하여 시너지를 일으킬 수 있도록 엑스포을 적극 지원할 것”이라고 말했다.

  정영철 공동조직위원장은“국악과 태권도는 음악과 스포츠를 넘어 한국의 정신과 문화의 가치를 알리는 중요한 매개체”라며“엑스포를 성공시켜 태권도와 함께 국악과 전통문화의 우수성이 세계에 널리 퍼질 수 있도록 행사준비에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
