【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=영동교육도서관은 유아기 독서 프로그램으로 「신나는 도서관 나들이」를 운영한다. 유치원 대상으로 신청을 받아 영동유치원, 구룡초 병설유치원, 심천초 병설유치원, 양강초 병설유치원 등 관내 10개 유치원이 18회 참여한다.

프로그램은 독서지도 전문 강사의 진행으로 도서관 이용법 알아보기, 동화구연 듣기, 아이템 만들기 및 보드게임 등 독후활동으로 이루어진다.

도서관 방문 경험이 있는 유아들은 도서관 이용법과 책 읽는 법을 몸에 익히고, 방문 경험이 없는 유아들은 도서관 친밀도를 높여 가족과 함께 다시 도서관을 찾을 수 있도록 유도하는 게 이 프로그램의 목적이다.

도서관 관계자는 “이제 막 싹을 틔우는 독서 새싹들의 유쾌한 도서관 나들이로 영동을 넘어 충북으로, 충북을 넘어 전국으로, 대한민국을 넘어 세계로 뻗어나갈 미래 인재의 숨은 잠재력을 키울 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
