 충주시의회 김낙우 의장의 지목을 받아 이번 캠페인에 참여한 박영기 의장은 다음 주자로 보은군의회 윤대성 의장을 지명하며, 캠페인의 의미를 더욱 확산해 나가길 희망했다. 

 한편, 박영기 의장은 제9대 제천시의회 의장에 취임 후 ‘대시민 공무국외출장 결과보고회’, ‘수산면 상천리 주민대상 특강’ 등을 개최하며 시민과의 소통을 강화하고, 전체의원 간담회 등을 통해 집행부와도 적극적인 대화의 자세를 취하며 ‘원칙과 기본이 바로서는 의회’구현을 위해 노력을 기울이고 있다.
