【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도는 어려운 민생경제 회복을 지원하고 상반기 추진이 시급한 역점사업 추진을 위해 3,598억 원 규모의 제1회 추가경정예산안을 4일 도의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

 이로써 충청북도 예산 총 규모는 당초예산(7조 1,683억원)보다 5.0% 증액된 7조 5,281억원으로 일반회계 67,863억원, 특별회계 7,418억원이다. 

충청북도는 어려운 재정여건이지만, 침체된 지역경제 활성화를 통한 민생경제 회복, 취약계층 생활안정 도모, 도정 주요 현안사업의 신속한 추진이 긴요하다고 판단하여, 순세계잉여금 ․ 지역개발기금 등을 활용하여 추경 예산을 편성하였다.

금번 추경 편성 주요내용은 민생안정 및 복지안전망 강화, 충북만의 특색있는 문화․체육․관광 기반 조성, 생태환경 보전 및 농업의 안정적 지원 분야이다.

충북도 이방무 기획조정실장은 “최근 전국적인 경제 불황 속에서 소상공인·중소기업 지원을 확대하고, 취약계층을 두텁게 보호하기 위한 사업에 적극적으로 재원을 투입하였다,”면서, “예산안이 확정되면 신속히 예산이 집행될 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하여 도민이 현장에서 체감하고 실질적인 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
