군은 3일 오후 9시를 기점으로 한파주의보가 발효됨에 따라 재난안전대책본부를 가동하고 비상 대응체계에 돌입했다.

또 계량기, 수도관 등 동파 방지를 위해 주민들에게 예방수칙을 적극 홍보하고 피해 발생 시 응급복구가 가능하도록 비상근무 체계를 유지하고 있다.

기상 상황에 따라 긴급재난문자(CBS) 송출, 전광판 등 모든 매체를 활용해 겨울철 자연 재난대비 행동요령과 협조사항도 적극 홍보할 방침이다.

군은 앞서 버스승강장에 방풍막을 설치하고 온열의자를 배치해 이용객들이 추위를 피할 수 있도록 조치했으며, 스마트승강장의 난방 시설을 점검해 정상 작동 여부를 확인했다.

또 지역 내 139개 한파 쉼터의 난방기 작동 여부 등을 점검해 군민들이 불편 없이 이용할 수 있도록 대비를 마쳤다.
