【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북도의회(의장 이양섭)는 15일 도의회를 방문한 캄보디아 시엠립도 도의장단과 간담회를 갖고 의료, 문화 등 다양한 분야에서의 협력 가능성을 논의했다.

이번 방문은 충청북도의사회가 2018년부터 진행해 온 캄보디아 의료 봉사 활동에 대한 감사의 뜻으로 이뤄진 답방으로 리 셈레스 시엠립도 도의장을 비롯해 누온 푸테아라 시엠립자치시 시장 등 8명이 동행했다. 

이양섭 의장은 “충북도의회 방문을 환영한다”며 “양 지역 간 우정을 돈독히 하고 지속적인 협력을 강화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 했다. 

충북도의사회는 매년 캄보디아 의료 봉사를 하고 있으며, 지난해에는 소아과, 내과, 안과 등의 의료진을 구성해 캄보디아에서 2,093건의 진료를 실시했다.

Chungbuk Provincial Council Visits Cambodia’s Siem Reap Provincial Council
