【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군 로컬푸드직매장은 매월 1회(연간 총 12회) 오는 1월 17일을 시작으로‘로컬푸드 요리교실’을 운영한다고 10일 밝혔다.

옥천군 농업기술센터 3층 가공 교육장에서 매월 둘째 주 금요일 10시에 진행되며 로컬푸드 레시피 개발과 이를 활용한 요리 실습 등이 이루어질 예정이다.

요리 교실의 강사진은 옥천로컬푸드직매장 생산자분들이 직접 참여하여 메뉴 선정 및 레시피 개발을 함께한다.

참가비는 무료이고 매달 약 20여명의 옥천로컬푸드직매장 소비자 회원 등을 대상으로 진행될 예정이다.

신청 기간은 매월 초 옥천 로컬푸드직매장 현장(옥천군 옥천읍 가화길 88) 및 전화 접수를 통해 선착순으로 모집할 계획이다.

옥천군 로컬푸드 요리교실은 소비자와의 소통과 화합을 위한 만남의 장으로서 역할을 하고있으며 군민들의 먹거리 복지 향상 또한 담당하고 있다. 

유정용 농촌활력과장은 “올해도 로컬푸드를 활용한 요리교실을 운영하고 있으니 많은 참여 부탁드리고 요리를 만드는 시간 만큼은 모든 근심 걱정을 잊고 행복하시길 바란다”며 “로컬푸드 요리교실 외에도 다양한 로컬푸드 사업 추진을 통해 지속 가능한 먹거리 체계 구축을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
