전세보증금 반환보증 보증료 지원사업은 전세 계약 종료 후 임차인이 임대인에게 받아야 하는 전세 보증금을 보증기관(주택도시보증공사 HUG, 한국주택금융공사 HF, 서울보증보험 SGI 등)이 우선 반환하고 임대인에게 구상권을 청구하는 제도이다.

최근 전세 사기 사건이 증가하면서 작년부터 전 연령으로 확대해 신청인이 기납부한 전세보증금 반환보증 보증료에 대해 전부 또는 일부를 환급하여 1세대 당 최대 30만 원의 보증료를 지원하고 있다.

지원 대상은 옥천군에 거주하고 신청일 기준 보증 효력이 유효한 주택도시보증공사(HUG), 한국주택금융공사(HF), 서울보증보험(SGI)에 가입 및 납부를 완료한 임차 보증금 3억 원 이하의 무주택 임차인이다.

연소득 기준은 청년은 5,000만 원, 신혼부부 7,500만 원 이하이며, 그 이외 세대는 6,000만 원을 넘기지 않아야 한다.

옥천군은 “임대차 계약 종료 후에도 보증금을 돌려받지 못하는 피해가 전국적으로 증가하고 있으며 특히 저소득층의 경우 피해가 심각하다”며“이번 사업을 통해 전세보증금반환보증에 가입해 전세 사기 등으로 인한 피해를 예방하길 바란다.”고 전했다.
