【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=(주)연조경(대표 김보경)은 9일 음성군청을 방문해 (재)음성군장학회(이사장 조병옥)에 200만원의 장학금을 기탁했다. 

㈜연조경(대표 김보경)은 음성읍에 소재한 조경식재, 시설물 설치 공사업체로, 지난 2022년부터 현재까지 총 400만원의 장학금을 기탁했다.

김보경 대표이사는 “작은 정성이지만 지역 학생들이 학업에 정진해 자신의 역량을 마음껏 발휘하는 데 도움이 됐으면 한다”고 기탁 소감을 밝혔다.

조병옥 이사장은 “꾸준히 지역 학생들에게 관심 가져주시고 기탁해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “기탁금은 지역인재를 양성하는 장학사업에 잘 사용하겠다”고 답했다.

한편 음성군장학회는 기탁된 장학금을 전액 장학기금으로 적립해 매년 학생들을 위한 다양한 장학사업을 펼치고 있다.

원당2리 마을회, 장학금 300만원 기탁

감곡면 원당2리 마을회는 9일 음성군청을 방문해 (재)음성군장학회(이사장 조병옥)에 300만원의 장학금을 기탁했다. 

원당2리 마을회는 지난해에도 (재)음성군장학회에 300만원의 장학금을 기탁한 바 있다.

김익환 이장은 “미래에 음성을 이끌어갈 인재가 경제적 어려움 없이 자신이 하고 싶은 일에 정진해 꿈을 이루길 바라는 마음에 장학금을 기탁하게 됐다”고 밝혔다.

조병옥 (재)음성군장학회 이사장은 “음성군 인재 양성을 위해 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 기탁해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “지역 학생들을 위해 소중하게 사용하겠다”고 답했다.

한편 감곡면 원당2리는 지난해 제11회 행복농촌만들기 콘테스트에서 국무총리상인 금상을 수상했다.
