‘여성농업인 특수건강 검진사업’은 근골격계, 심혈관계질환 등 여성농업인에게 취약한 질환에 대한 건강검진과 예방 교육을 지원하고, 여성농업인들이 농업 활동에 더욱 집중할 수 있는 환경을 조성하기 위해 추진한다.

지원 대상은 관내 거주하는 홀수년도 출생한 51~70세(55.1.1.~74.12.31.)의 여성농업인이다. 농어업경영체 육성 및 지원에 관한 법률 제4조에 따라 농업경영체에 등록된 경영주 또는 공동경영주, 그리고 경영주 외 농업종사자로 등록된 분으로 한정된다. 

검진 대상으로 확정되면 근골격계, 심혈관계 포함 5개 영역에서 10개 항목, 1인당 22만원 상당의 검진을 협력 검진 기관인 금왕제일조은병원에서 무료로 진행할 수 있다.
