【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 2025년도 정기분 등록면허세(면허) 37,500여 건에 6억 5백만 원을 부과했다고 밝혔다.

정기분 등록면허세는 각종 허가, 신고, 인가, 등록 등 면허 보유 건마다 부과되는 지방세다.

1월 1일 현재 해당 면허의 유효기간이 없거나, 그 기간이 1년을 초과하는 면허는 매년 1월 1일에 그 면허가 갱신된 것으로 간주해 면허세가 부과되고 있다.

이번에 부과된 등록면허세의 납부 기한은 1월 16일부터 31일까지다.

납부는 인터넷뱅킹, CD/ATM기기(현금입출금기), 위택스 등 다양한 방법을 이용하여 어디서든 편리하게 진행할 수 있다.

또한 가상계좌, ARS 납부도 가능하며, 대리인은 전자 납부 번호를 이용해 납부할 수 있다.

다만, 자동이체를 신청한 납세자는 통장에 잔액이 부족한 경우 기한 내 납부가 안 되므로, 가산금 등 불이익을 받지 않으려면 본인이 정상 이체 여부를 반드시 확인해야 한다.

안창숙 세정과장은 “등록면허세는 지역사회 발전을 위해 사용되는 귀중한 자주재원인 만큼, 1월 31일까지 꼭 납부해 주시길 바란다”라고 말했다.
