이번 방문은 소외된 이웃 없이 모두가 따뜻한 설 명절을 맞이할 수 있도록 라면 등 생활필수품을 전달하기 위해 마련됐으며 유재목 부의장(옥천1)이 함께했다. 

박용규 위원장은 “을사년 새해를 맞아 지역의 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 설 명절을 보내길 바라는 마음으로 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회 소외계층의 목소리에 더욱 귀 기울이겠다”고 말했다. 

시설 관계자는 “명절을 앞두고 직접 방문해 위문품을 전달해 주신 데 깊이 감사드린다”며 “입소자와 직원들에게 큰 격려와 위로가 되었다”고 전했다.
