이번 행사는 송인헌 괴산군수, 김낙영 괴산군의회 의장, 이태훈 충북도의회 의원, 괴산군의회 의원들을 비롯해 기관·사회단체장, 기업체 대표 등이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

행사는 신년악수를 시작으로 각 기관장과 단체장들이 새해 덕담을 나누며 상호 신뢰를 다졌다.

특히, 올해는 행사 시간대를 오전에서 오후로 변경하고, 기존 떡국 식사 대신 다과와 기념품을 제공하는 등 변화가 있었다.

또한 각 읍면 기관단체장들도 참석할 수 있도록 초청 범위를 확대해 더 많은 지역 관계자가 참여할 수 있도록 했다.

김춘수 괴산문화원장은 “신년인사회가 형식적인 자리가 아닌, 화합과 소통의 장이 될 수 있도록 준비했다”며, “초청 대상도 확대해 각계각층이 참여할 수 있도록 노력했다”고 밝혔다.

송인헌 괴산군수는 “새해 화두인 ‘대화위성(大和爲成, 큰 화합이 성공을 이끈다)’을 실천하며, 700여 공직자와 군민 모두 하나 되어 괴산 발전을 이루겠다”고 전했다.
