  절임염수 재활용 설비 구축 지원사업은 중소 김치 및 절임배추 제조업체를 대상으로 여과기, 염수 순환장치, 거품 제거기, 오존 접촉‧반응기 등 절임염수 재활용에 필요한 시설 및 장비를 지원하는 사업으로 이를 통해 제조업체의 생산 비용 절감과 품질 경쟁력 강화가 기대된다.

  충청북도 관계자는 “이번 공모사업 선정을 통해 도내 김치 및 절임배추 제조업체의 원가 절감으로 가격 및 품질 경쟁력 향상이 이루어질 것”이라며, “이 밖에도 괴산군 김치 원료 공급단지(‘22~’26년/290억), 김치산업 육성 지원(10억), 어쩌다 못난이 김치 브랜드 육성 등을 통해 충청북도 김치산업 육성에 매진하는 한편, 국산 김치가 수입산 김치를 대체할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
