【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도는 2일 2025년 도청 대회의실에서 직원 150여 명이 참석한 가운데 새해 업무를 시작하는 시무식을 가졌다.

  이날 시무식은 제주항공 여객기 사고 애도 동참을 위해 개회 및 국민의례, 신년사 등 간소하게 진행되었다.

  김영환 충청북도지사는 신년사에서 “지난해 충북은 변화와 혁신을 거듭하며 55조 원이 넘는 투자유치와 9조 93억 원이라는 역대 최대 규모 정부예산 확보 등 지역발전을 위한 성장 동력을 마련했다.”라며,  “2025년은 경제성장이 둔화하고 민생경제에 어려움이 있지만, ‘숨 쉬는 땅, 쉼표 있는 생활, 샘솟는 행복, 삶의 터전 충북’의 뜻을 담은‘숨, 쉼, 샘, 삶’을 새해 화두로 삼아 도민이 행복하고 도민의 삶이 풍요로운 충북 건설에 매진하겠다.”라고 말했다.

  이어서 “먼저 민생경제 회복을 위해 중소기업과 소상공인, 청년창업 등 맞춤형 정책을 추진해 경제 체감온도를 높이고, ‘문화의 바다 그랜드 프로젝트’를 바탕으로 충북아트센터 등 다양한 문화 기반(인프라)을 확충해 특색있는 문화환경을 조성하겠다.”라고 말했다.

  또한, “정원문화과를 신설해 민간 정원 확대, 청남대 나라사랑 정원 조성 등 충북을 자연과 사람이 공존하는 대한민국 대표 자연 정원으로 만들겠으며, 일하는 밥퍼, 함께 근로, 최중증발달장애인 통합돌봄서비스 확대, 작은 결혼식 등 다양한 복지정책을 통해 도민이 만족하는 복지안전망 구축에 힘쓰겠다.”라고 말했다.

  이외에도 “「중부내륙특별법」 전면 개정, 충북형 재난 안전 통합관제시스템 구축, 대규모 스마트팜 단지 조성, AI 기반 신사업 확대 등 도민의 안전과 행복 속에서 충북의 지속 가능한 성장을 이끌어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
