이번 성과보고회는 한 해 동안 추진된 지역사회보장협의체 활동을 격려하기 위한 자리로, 활성화에 기여한 유공자 표창, 위기가구 발굴 등 사업을 적극적으로 수행한 우수 읍면동 표창 그리고 우수사례 공유가 진행됐다.

김웅 민간위원장은 “충주시 협의체는 주민들의 다양한 복지 수요에 대응하는 구심점 역할과 복지 사각지대를 발굴하기 위해 힘쓰고 있다”라며 “한 해 동안 애써주신 모든 위원께 진심으로 감사드린다”고 전했다.

조길형 시장은 “지역사회보장협의체를 중심으로 민관협력 사업이 활발히 추진되어 사회복지안전망이 촘촘히 유지되었다”라며, “지역복지 발전과 복지 사각지대 발굴을 위해 항상 노력해 주셔서 감사하고, 앞으로도 변함없는 성원과 활동을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

올해 충주시 읍면동 지역사회보장협의체는 4억여 원의 후원금을 모집하여 300여 개의 특화사업을 수행했고 2만여 명의 취약계층 대상자에게 복지서비스를 실천하는 성과를 올렸다.
