  16일 군에 따르면 올해 ‘군민 소통의 날’은 코로나19 장기화로 군민과 소통할 수 있는 기회가 줄어듦에 따라 군민 의견을 청취할 수 있는 창구를 확보하고자 추진하게 됐다.

  ‘군민 소통의 날’은 지난 2일 백곡면을 시작으로 3일 진천읍, 4일 덕산읍, 9일 문백면, 10일 이월면, 14일 초평면, 16일 광혜원면 순으로 진행됐다.  

  이번 행사는 코로나19로 읍⋅면별 지역 지도자 20명 정도만 참석해 진행 됐다. 

  송 군수는 이번 행사에서 군정운영 방향과 주요현안에 대해 설명하고 주민들의 의견을 수렴했다.

  주민들은 진천읍 인구증가를 위한 정주여건 개선, 덕산읍 농촌인력난 해소방안, 초평면 행정복지센터 이전, 문백면 미호천 구곡지구 정비, 백곡면 장수복지회관 건립, 이월면 정주인구 증가를 위한 도시계획 재정비, 광혜원 구암리 일원 개발 등을 주요현안으로 건의 했다.
