【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 단양군 단성면 바르게살기위원회는 지난 11월 30일 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 돕기 위해 ‘사랑의 연탄 나눔’ 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

이날 봉사에는 위원 15명이 참여해 지역 내 독거노인 가구를 직접 방문하고 연탄 500장을 전달했다. 

갑작스러운 추위 속에서도 위원들은 연탄을 한 장 한 장 정성껏 나르며 훈훈한 이웃사랑을 실천했다.

또한 연탄 나눔 후에는 하방주차장에서 놋재 일대까지 환경정화활동을 진행해 지역 환경 개선에도 힘을 보탰다. 

이천순 위원장은 “작은 나눔이지만 도움이 필요한 이웃에게 따뜻함을 전할 수 있어 보람을 느낀다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회에 지속적으로 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

On November 30th, the Danseong-myeon Bargesalgi Committee in Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province, held a "Love Coal Briquette Sharing" volunteer activity to help vulnerable residents survive the winter.

Fifteen committee members participated in the volunteer service, visiting elderly households living alone in the area and delivering 500 briquettes.
