【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북개발공사와 청주도시공사는 2025년 12월 2일 충북개발공사 중회의실에서 도시개발사업 및 산업단지 조성사업 등 공동사업 추진을 위한 상생 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

 이번 협약은 양 기관이 상호 협력과 역할 분담을 통해 충청북도 지역의 균형발전과 도시 경쟁력 강화를 도모하고 지속가능한 도시성장 기반을 마련하기 위해 추진되었다.

 협약에 따라 양 기관은 도시개발사업, 산업단지 조성, 재개발 및 재건축 등 주요 개발사업의 공동 발굴과 추진을 위해 적극 협력할 계획이다. 아울러, 사업 타당성 검토, 인허가 협의, 재원 조달, 수익 배분 방안 마련 등 사업 단계별로 긴밀한 협업 체계를 구축해 나갈 계획이다.

 충북개발공사는 광역적 개발 기획과 대외 협력, 재원 조달 등 총괄적인 기능을 수행하고, 청주도시공사는 지역 기반의 사업 관리 및 행정 지원, 주민 소통 등을 담당함으로써 상호 보완적인 역할을 수행하게 된다.

 또한, 양 기관은 향후 공동 협력을 위한‘사업협의체’를 구성하여 주요 사업 발굴, 추진방향 설정, 사업 성과 평가 등을 지속적으로 논의하고, 상호 전문성과 인적 자원을 공유해 지역 개발의 효율성을 높일 예정이다.

 김순구 충북개발공사 사장은“이번 협약을 계기로 두 공사가 힘을 모아 지역의 도시개발이 한 단계 도약하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “지역 상생의 모범사례가 될 수 있도록 지속적으로 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
