【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군청소년상담복지센터가 2025년 또래상담자로 양성된 청소년 32명(옥천고·충북산업과학고·옥천군방과후아카데미)과 함께 다양한 학교폭력예방 캠페인을 추진했다.

먼저, 지난 10월 17일에는 충북산업과학고등학교에서 등굣길 학생을 대상으로 학교폭력 예방 캠페인 ‘무지개’가 진행됐다. 이번 캠페인은 충북산업과학고등학교 또래상담 동아리, 1388청소년지원단, 청소년상담복지센터가 협력해 추진했으며, ‘무심보단 관심, 지적보단 이해, 개인보단 함께’를 슬로건 아래 아침 간식을 나누며 관심·이해·공동체 가치가 학교폭력 예방으로 이어질 수 있다는 메시지를 전달했다. 오는 12월에는 옥천고등학교에서도 캠페인을 진행할 예정이다.

또한 센터는 또래상담자로 양성된 청소년을 대상으로 다양한 또래상담자 교육 및 활동 지원을 이어가고 있다. 지난 11월 27일에는 옥천군방과후아카데미 지용학당에서 초등 또래상담자 수료식이 열렸다. 수료생들은 배운 내용을 공유하며 서로를 격려했고, 함께 관람한 ‘위키드: 포 굿’에서 친구관계를 다룬 장면을 바탕으로 이야기를 나누었다.

센터는 청소년이 어려움과 고민을 가장 먼저 또래에게 털어놓는다는 점에 주목해, 고민이 있는 친구를 공감하며 도울 수 있는 기본 대화방법을 지속적으로 교육하고 있다. 교육을 이수한 또래상담자들은 친구의 어려움을 경청하고, 전문 상담이 필요할 경우 교내 wee클래스 또는 센터로 연계해 학교폭력 예방과 위기청소년 조기발견에 기여하고 있다. 

아울러, 올해 또래상담자 양성교육 외에도 교사 간담회, 또래 상담 동아리 홍보, 아웃리치 활동을 통해 청소년 참여 기반을 확대했다. 내년에는 각 학교와 센터의 또래상담 동아리가 활동을 공유하며 결속력을 높이는 연합 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.

The Okcheon County Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, along with 32 youth trained as peer counselors in 2025 (from Okcheon High School, Chungbuk Industrial Science High School, and the Okcheon County After-School Academy), launched various school violence prevention campaigns.

First, on October 17th, the "Rainbow" school violence prevention campaign was held at Chungbuk Industrial Science High School for students commuting to school.
