【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국립한국교통대학교는 지난 11월 21일(금), 한국항공대학교에서 개최된 ‘2025 한국항공우주인적요인학회 추계학술대회(이하 학술대회)’에서 최우수상, 우수상, 장려상, 특별상을 수상하는 등 탁월한 연구 성과를 거뒀다고 밝혔다.

이번 학술대회는 한국항공우주인적요인학회(회장 최진국) 주관, 한국항공우주의학협회와 한국항공안전기술원 공동 주최로 열렸으며, ‘항공안전 및 인적요인 혁신과 안전문화 개선’을 주제로 전국 주요 항공 특성화 대학들이 참가한 가운데 성황리에 진행됐다. 특히, 공군사관학교, 부산대학교, 경상국립대학교, 한서대학교, 한국항공대학교, 청주대학교 등 유수 대학이 참여해 열띤 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

학술대회에 참가한 국립한국교통대학교 이준서, 김민재, 주은채 학생 팀은 ‘항공기 조류 충돌에 대한 인적 및 구조적 요인 분석과 개선 방안 연구’를 주제로 국내 항공 정책 개선에 실질적인 시사점을 제시한 점에서 심사위원단의 높은 평가를 받아 최우수상을 수상했다.

우수상은 항공운항학과 학생들로 구성된 두 팀이 각각 수상했다. 첫 번째 팀(최석희, 신관후, 최영진, 남규민)은 ‘테네리페 공항 참사 사례를 통한 조종사-관제사 간 의사소통 오류의 인적 요인 분석’을, 두 번째 팀(최연우, 전수호, 김준성)은 ‘항공안전 문화에 대한 처벌주의, 권위주의, 이윤 지상주의의 복합적 영향 분석’을 발표해 수상의 영예를 안았으며, 지도 교수인 박상용, 박성식, 이근영, 최진국 교수는 우수지도교수상을 공동 수상했다.

대학원생들도 뛰어난 연구 성과를 보였다. 글로벌융합대학원 항공경영학과 소속 추한철 대학원생은 ‘미국·유럽 FRMS 도입 사례와 국내 현황 비교 연구’로, 최민석 대학원생은 ‘한국형 K-UAM 운용체계에서 이행 가능한 안전문화 구축 연구’를 통해 장려상을 수상했다. 이승보 대학원생은 ‘VR Head Display와 기본비행훈련장치를 이용한 학생조종사 비행훈련 효과 비교 연구’를 통해 특별상을 수상하는 성과를 거뒀다.

항공운항학과 박성식 학과장(한국항공우주인적요인학회 편집위원장)은 “학생들의 연구 노력이 결실을 맺은 뜻깊은 성과이다”라며 “이번 학술대회를 계기로 항공 안전과 인적요인 연구가 더욱 활발해지고, 미래 항공 전문가 양성에도 긍정적인 기여가 되기를 바란다”라고 전했다.

Korea National University of Transportation Wins Multiple Awards at the '25 Korean Society for Aerospace Human Factors Fall Conference

Korea National University of Transportation announced that it achieved outstanding research achievements, winning the Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, Encouragement Prize, and Special Prize at the '2025 Korean Society for Aerospace Human Factors Fall Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Conference),' held at Korea Aerospace University on Friday, November 21st.

Two teams, each comprised of students from the Department of Aviation and Operations, received Excellence Awards. The first team (Choi Seok-hee, Shin Gwan-hoo, Choi Yeong-jin, and Nam Gyu-min) presented "An Analysis of Human Factors in Pilot-Controller Communication Misunderstandings Based on the Case of the Tenerife Airport Disaster," and the second team (Choi Yeon-woo, Jeon Su-ho, and Kim Jun-seong) presented "An Analysis of the Combined Impact of Punishment, Authoritarianism, and Profit-Orientedness on Aviation Safety Culture." The advisors, Professors Park Sang-yong, Park Seong-sik, Lee Geun-yeong, and Choi Jin-guk, jointly received the Outstanding Professor Award.

Graduate students also demonstrated outstanding research achievements. Graduate student Han-cheol Choo of the Department of Aviation Management at the Graduate School of Global Convergence received an Encouragement Award for his research titled "Comparative Study of FRMS Implementation Cases in the US and Europe and the Current Status in Korea." Graduate student Min-seok Choi received an Encouragement Award for his research titled "A Study on Establishing a Safety Culture Implementable in the Korean K-UAM Operation System." Graduate student Seung-bo Lee received a Special Award for his research titled "Comparative Study on the Effectiveness of Student Pilot Flight Training Using VR Head Display and Basic Flight Training Device."

Park Seong-sik, Dean of the Department of Aviation and Operations and Editor-in-Chief of the Korean Society for Aerospace Human Factors, said, "This is a meaningful achievement, reflecting the fruition of our students' research efforts." He added, "I hope this conference will further stimulate research on aviation safety and human factors and contribute positively to the development of future aviation experts."
