【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교 반도체공학부 파워냉방팀(염인선, 최명현(이상 전자공학부 4학년), 김정민, 김우영 (이상 전자공학부 반도체공학전공 3학년), 지도교수 양병도)이 지난 11월 18일(화)부터 11월 21일(금)까지  일산 킨텍스에서 열린 2025 특성화 유니위크(Uni-week) 행사 중 진행된 ‘STOB리그’ 시상식에서 영예의 대상(교육부장관상)을 수상했다. 아울러 부상으로 상금 500만 원과 동계 국외연수 기회를 받았다. 

충북대 파워냉방팀은 삼성전자, SK하이닉스에서 제시한 반도체 관련 과제에 대해 문제풀이 방향성과 해결 과정 및 도출 방안 등을 설명해 전력 효율안전성면적확장성 측면에서 균형 잡힌 성능을 구현한 점에서 우수한 평가를 받았다. 

올해 STOB리그에는 전국 28개 반도체특성화대학 소속의 총 170개 팀이 참가해 30개 팀이 본선에 올랐으며, 충북대는 ‘파워냉방’, ‘이건머지’, ‘SEMMIT’, ‘ISYS’, ‘얌얌조’ 팀과 한국기술교육대와 연합팀인 ‘대호’팀까지 총 6팀이 본선에 진출했다. 

이 가운데 ‘파워냉방’팀이 단독형 “대상”을 차지했으며, 단독형 반도체공학부 ‘이건머지’팀(전자공학부 김태현, 김성진, 전자공학부 반도체공학전공 홍의준, 이우현, 지도교수 노정훈)과 연합형 메카트로닉스공학부 ‘대호’팀(충북대 화학공학과 이지헌, 한국기술교육대 메카트로닉스공학부 지호범, 조대관, 지도교수 김영철)이 “우수상”, 단독형 반도체공학부 ‘SEMMIT’팀(전자공학부 반도체공학전공 이연석, 김태후, 박수민, 오현택, 지도교수 박준영)이 “장려상”을 수상하여 총 4팀이 입상했다.

이번 성과로 충북대는 “2년 연속 대상(교육부장관상)”의 쾌거를 달성하며, 학생들의 도전과 성과가 반도체 분야 경쟁력 강화에 실질적으로 기여하고 있음을 입증했다.

충북대 반도체특성화대학사업단 사업책임자인 양병도 단장은 “학생들이 직접 기획하고 문제를 해결한 결과가 우수한 성과로 이어졌다”며 “이번 대회를 통해 학생들의 실무 중심 인재 양성 교육의 성과를 확인할 수 있었고, 현장 맞춤형 실무 역량이 크게 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 앞으로도 충북대 반도체특성화대학사업단은 미래 산업을 선도할 인재 양성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 전했다. 

한편, ‘2025 STOB리그’는 교육부가 주최하고, 한국산업기술진흥원과 한국반도체산업협회가 주관하는 반도체 특성화대학 대상 경진대회로 ‘특성화 유니위크’는 첨단산업 특성화대학 학생 1500여 명과 국내외 선도기업 20곳 등이 참여해 진로 탐색, 커리어 설계, 네트워킹 프로그램 등을 운영했다.

Meanwhile, the "2025 STOB League" is a competition for semiconductor specialized universities hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association.
