【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천읍지역사회보장협의체는 지난 28일 옥천읍행정복지센터 소회의실에서 행복하고 밝은 옥천읍을 위한 ‘2025년도 후원자 간담회’를 개최했다.

이번 간담회는 옥천읍에 정기·일시 기부, 물품 기탁 등을 실천해 온 개인, 기업, 단체 등이 참석하여 그동안의 후원 활동을 돌아보고, 지역 복지 향상을 위해 소중한 나눔을 실천해 온 후원자들에게 감사의 마음을 전하고자 마련되었다.

이날 협의체는 향수한우소국밥(대표 안인식), ㈜엘마트(대표 최옥자) 두 기업에 감사패를 전달하고, 지속적인 관심과 후원에 대해 깊은 감사를 표했다. 또한 대신이앤씨(주)에서 3백만 원의 후원금을 기탁하여 지역사회 나눔 활동에 동참하며 자리를 더욱 빛냈다. 기탁된 후원금은 옥천읍 내 복지 사각지대 해소와 다양한 맞춤형 지원 사업에 사용될 예정이다.

송유정 민간위원장은 “여러분의 정성이 모여 우리 지역의 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘이 된다. 앞으로도 옥천읍이 더 따뜻한 공동체가 될 수 있도록 옥천읍지역사회보장협의체가 함께 노력하겠다”고 말했다. 

곽상혁 공공위원장은 “소중한 나눔을 실천해 주시는 후원자님들께 진심으로 감사드린다. 앞으로도 민·관이 함께하는 복지체계를 강화하고 나눔 문화가 지속적으로 확산될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 이날 옥천읍지역사회보장협의체는 연합모금사업으로 겨울 이불 지원사업을 추진하며 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위해 저소득 취약계층 25가구에 겨울 이불을 전달했다.
