【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군이 제철 농산물의 가치와 건강한 식문화를 확산하기 위해 오는 12월 12일 ‘12월 로컬푸드 요리교실’을 개최한다.

프로그램은 옥천군농업기술센터 3층 가공교육장에서 진행되며 참가비는 무료, 선착순 25명을 모집한다. 특히 이번 요리교실에서는 지역에서 생산된 신선한 농산물을 활용해 우엉잡채와 버섯들깨탕 두 가지 메뉴를 배우며, 참여자들은 재료 손질부터 조리, 마무리까지 직접 체험하고 수업 후에는 레시피도 제공받는다. 

한편, 옥천군은 매월 둘째 주 금요일을 ‘로컬푸드 요리교실’ 운영일로 정해 지속적으로 프로그램을 진행하고 있으며, 이는 지역 농산물 소비 확대, 직거래 활성화, 주민 건강 증진에 기여하고 있다. 

군 관계자는 “지역 농산물을 활용한 요리교육을 통해 로컬푸드 소비를 촉진하고 건강한 식문화를 널리 확산하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Okcheon County to Hold 'Local Food Cooking Class' on December 12th

Okcheon County will host the 'December Local Food Cooking Class' on December 12th to promote the value of seasonal agricultural products and a healthy food culture.

The program will be held at the Processing Education Center on the third floor of the Okcheon County Agricultural Technology Center. Participation is free, and the first 25 participants will be accepted. This cooking class will feature two dishes using fresh, locally grown agricultural products: burdock japchae and mushroom sesame soup. Participants will experience the entire process, from preparing the ingredients to cooking and finishing, and will receive the recipes after the class.

Meanwhile, Okcheon County has designated the second Friday of every month as the 'Local Food Cooking Class' day and continues to hold the program. This program is contributing to increased consumption of local agricultural products, stimulating direct sales, and improving the health of residents.
