【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 ‘2025년 충청북도 노인일자리 창출 우수 시군 평가’에서 최우수 시군으로 선정돼 상사업비 1억원을 확보했다고 28일 밝혔다.

군은 지난 9월 보건복지부가 주최한 노인일자리 사업 평가에서 최우수 지자체상, 선도모델 협력기관 대상을 수상하는 2관왕에 이어 충청북도 노인일자리 창출 최우수 시군 선정까지 연속 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.

충청북도에서 추진하는 노인일자리 창출 우수시군 평가는 민간분야 노인 고용 확대를 위해 노력한 시군에 대한 평가다.

민간 노인일자리 창출 실적과 노인일자리 창출 시책 추진 노력 등을 평가해 우수 시군을 가린다. 

군은 노인일자리 사업 확대와 질 높은 일자리 창출을 위해 지속적인 예산 투입 등으로 2022년 최우수상 수상에 이어 2024년 우수상을, 올해 최우수상을 수상하게 됐다. 

이번 평가의 결과로 나이 들어도 살기 좋은 도시라는 명성을 다시 한번 이어 나가게 됐다. 

군은 올해 노인일자리 사업에 161억원의 예산을 투입해 4235개의 노인일자리를 제공했다. 어르신들에게 소득 기반을 제공하며, 사회참여를 위한 사업도 꾸준히 확대하고 있다.

또한 노인일자리 선도모델사업인 음성형노인일자리 사업에 군비 3억2000만원을 투입해 140명의 일자리를 추가로 발굴하는 등 노인일자리 사업에 지원을 아끼지 않고 있다.

조병옥 군수는 “군이 충청북도 내 평가에서 최우수 시군으로 선정된 결과는 녹록지 않은 여건 속에서도 군과 수행기관이 한마음으로 협력해 공공분야뿐만 아니라 민간 분야까지 노인일자리 확대를 위해 노력한 결과”라고 말했다.

그러면서 “앞으로도 어르신들의 다양한 일자리를 발굴·확대 보급해 품격 있는 건강한 노후의 삶을 누리며 노년기 자아실현을 달성하도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

이번 수상을 통해 지원되는 1억원의 상사업비는 노인여가복지시설 기능 보강 등에 사용될 예정이다.

The county won the Grand Prize in 2022, the Excellence Prize in 2024, and the Grand Prize this year for its continued investment in expanding senior job programs and creating high-quality jobs.

This evaluation has once again solidified the county's reputation as a city with a great place to live as you age.

This year, the county invested 16.1 billion won in senior job programs, creating 4,235 jobs for seniors. The county is providing seniors with a foundation for income and steadily expanding programs that promote social participation.

Furthermore, the county is providing generous support for senior job programs, including investing 320 million won in the Eumseong-type Senior Job Program, a leading senior job model, to create an additional 140 jobs.

Governor Cho Byeong-ok stated, "The county's selection as the best city/county in the Chungcheongbuk-do evaluation is the result of the county and implementing agencies' unwavering cooperation, despite challenging circumstances, to expand senior job opportunities not only in the public sector but also in the private sector."

The 100 million won in project funding from this award will be used to strengthen senior leisure and welfare facilities.
