【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=(사)충북바이오산학융합원이 지난 27일, 충북 청주 엔포드호텔에서 산업통상자원부가 주최하고, 한국산업기술진흥원과 한국산학융합지구협의회 주관으로 열린 2025년 전국 산학융합지구 성과교류회에서 ‘최우수 산학융합지구’로 선정되어 산업통상자원부 장관상을 수상했다. 

이번 행사는 전국 17개 산학융합지구의 우수 성과와 협력 사례를 공유하고, 산학협력을 통해 창출된 혁신적 결과물을 공유하기위해 마련됐으며, 산업통상자원부와 한국산업기술진흥원 관계자, 전국산학융합지구 관계자 및 참여기업 임직원, 참여대학 교수와 학생 등 220여명이 참석했다.

성과교류회에서는 전국 17개의 산학융합지구, 참여기업이 이뤄낸 성과를 공유했으며, 산학협력 교육과정으로 추진된‘프로젝트 Lab 경진대회’에서는 참여학생들의 아이디어와 연구성과 결고에 대해 발표했고 청주대학교 최재원 교수 프로젝트 Lab(팀명 BML)이 최우수상(산업통상자원부 장관상)을 수상했다.

산학융합지구는 산업단 내에 국가, 지방자치단체, 대학 등이 출연해 대학캠퍼스와 기업연구관이 융합된 공간을 조성해 학교와 기업, 학생과 재직자가 참여하는 현장과 기업 수요 중심의 새로운 인력양성 및 산학협력 모델을 구현하는 사업이다.

충북산학융합지구는 충북대, 청주대, 충북도립대 바이오 관련 5개 학과 등 830여명 규모의 캠퍼스와 바이오헬스 산업 분야 40여개 기업이 입주한 기업연구관이 있으며 바이오헬스 산업 분야 연구개발, 교육 및 고용 연계, 기업 지원 등 충북 특화 지원체계를 구축하고 있다

(사)충북바이오산학융합원은 오송 바이오 클러스터를 중심으로 현장 맞춤형 바이오 인재 양성, 지역 중소기업 기술·사업화 지원, 산학연관 협력 네트워크 구축, RISE 등 지역혁신 사업 연계 플랫폼 운영을 수행하며 지역 산업생태계 활성화에 기여하고 있다.

This event was designed to share outstanding achievements and collaborative cases from 17 industry-academia convergence districts nationwide and to share innovative outcomes created through industry-academia collaboration. Approximately 220 people attended, including officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, KIAT, officials from industry-academia convergence districts nationwide, executives and staff from participating companies, and professors and students from participating universities.

At the Achievement Exchange Meeting, the achievements of 17 industry-academia convergence districts and participating companies across the country were shared. At the "Project Lab Competition," a program sponsored by the industry-academia cooperation curriculum, participating students presented their ideas and research results. The Industry-Academia Convergence District project, funded by the central government, local governments, and universities, creates a space within industrial complexes that integrates university campuses and corporate research centers. The Chungbuk Industry-Academia Convergence District comprises a campus with approximately 830 students, including five bio-related departments from Chungbuk National University, Cheongju University, and Chungbuk Provincial University. It also houses a corporate research center housing approximately 40 companies in the biohealth industry. It is establishing a specialized support system for the North Chungcheong region, encompassing research and development, education and employment, and corporate support for the biohealth industry.

The Chungbuk Bio-Academia Convergence Institute, centered around the Osong Bio Cluster, fosters customized bio talent, supports technology and commercialization for local SMEs, builds industry-academia collaboration networks, and operates regional innovation project linkage platforms like RISE. This contributes to the revitalization of the local industrial ecosystem.
