【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북신용보증재단은 지난 14일「2025 지역사회공헌 인정제」 기관으로 신규 인증을 획득하였다고 밝혔다. 이는 재단이 추진해 온 지역경제 취약계층 지원, 소상공인 금융안정 프로그램, 지역 상생형 사회공헌 활동 등을 인정받은 결과이다.

‘지역사회공헌 인정제’는 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 공동으로 운영하는 제도로, 지역사회 문제 해결을 위해 지속적이고 체계적인 사회공헌 활동을 수행한 기관을 심사해 인증하는 제도다. 

재단은 최근 몇 년간 ▲취약계층 후원 및 지원 사업 ▲지역사회 문화·예술 활동 후원 ▲재난·재해 취약 긴급지원 등 다양한 사회공헌 사업을 전개해왔다.

김창순 충북신용보증재단 이사장은 “이번 인정제 취득은 재단이  꾸준히 추진해온 활동이 공적으로 인정받은 데 큰 의미가 있다.”며 “앞으로도 충북 지역 소상공인의 성장을 돕고 지역사회와 동행하는 사회공헌 체계를 지속 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

충북신용보증재단은 이번 인증을 계기로 사회공헌 추진 전략 고도화, 지역특화 프로그램 확대, ESG 경영 기반 강화 등 보다 체계적인 사회적 가치 실현 활동을 이어나갈 계획이다

Chungbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation Receives Certification under the "25-Year Community Contribution Recognition System"

The Chungbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 14th that it had received new certification under the "2025 Community Contribution Recognition System." This recognition reflects the foundation's ongoing support for the economically vulnerable, financial stabilization programs for small businesses, and community-based social contribution initiatives.

The "Community Contribution Recognition System," jointly operated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare, evaluates and certifies organizations that have implemented consistent and systematic social contribution activities to address community issues.

In recent years, the foundation has implemented various social contribution projects, including: sponsorship and support for vulnerable populations; sponsorship of local cultural and artistic activities; and emergency support for those vulnerable to disasters.

Kim Chang-soon, Chairman of the Chungbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, "This accreditation is significant as it publicly acknowledges the foundation's ongoing efforts." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our social contribution system, supporting the growth of small businesses in the Chungbuk region and partnering with the local community."

With this accreditation, the Chungbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to continue its systematic social value creation activities, including refining its social contribution strategy, expanding regionally specialized programs, and strengthening its ESG management foundation.
