이번 상주주차장 집중정비는 녹지대, 주차장에 무분별하게 버려진 폐가구, 생활 쓰레기, 오물통 등 쓰레기 청소를 중심으로 이뤄졌으며, 불법투기 근절을 위해 △홍보 현수막 △모션 감지형 경고 음성 스피커를 설치했다.

한국도로공사 충북본부는 쓰레기 불법투기 근절을 위해 고속도로 전광표지(VMS), 현수막, 모션 감지형 음성 표출 등을 통한 지속적인 홍보를 실시하고, 이후 발생하는 불법투기에 대해서는 CCTV, 드론을 활용한 영상 수집으로 고발을 적극적으로 시행할 예정이다.
