【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청(교육감 윤건영)은 31일 오전, 윤건영 충청북도교육감과 정영철 영동군수가 영동 국악체험촌에서 정책간담회를 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

이번 간담회는 9월 12일부터 10월 11일까지 30일간 열리는 <2025영동세계국악엑스포>의 성공 개최를 기원하기 위해 영동 국악체험촌에서 개최됐다.

윤건영 교육감은 이날 영동교육지원청에 엑스포 관람 및 체험이 가능한현장학습 예산을 지원하겠다고 했으며, 지역 소멸 위기 극복을 위한 교육 대응 방안도 함께 논의했다. 

영동군은 관내 중‧고생에게 영동군민장학회 장학금 8천만 원을 활용, <강남구청 인터넷수능방송> 1,596개 강좌 1년 수강권(1인당 5만원 상당)을 지원하고 있다고 밝혔다.

또한, 충북교육청은 오는 10월 22일부터 26일까지 청주 생명누리공원에서 열리는 <2025 공감‧동행 충북교육박람회>를 홍보했고, 영동군은 지자체 홍보관 운영에 참여하는 등 상호 협력하기로 합의했다.

이외에도, ▲충북 학생 체인지 앱을 활용한 지역 탐방 활성화 ▲학교와 지역사회가 함께하는 늘봄학교 운영 등에 대해 영동군과 교육당국이 여건에 맞게 협조해 나가기로 했다.

간담회 후에는 윤건영 교육감과 정영철 영동군수가 국악엑스포의 성공을 기원하는 천고 타북 행사를 가졌다.

천고는 영동군이 국악을 알리기 위해 제작한 세계에서 가장 큰 북으로 2011년 기네스 기록에 등재됐다. <소망과 염원을 하늘에 전달하는 북>이라는 뜻에서 ‘천고’라고 이름 붙였다.
